Frequently Asked Questions

What type of events can I book?

Private screenings.  Movie theaters provide the perfect venue for a variety of Events, Birthday Parties, School Groups, Church Groups, Corporate Events, and Independent Film Premiers.

 

Is the movie included in my rental fee?

Yes.  For private screenings, you can request one of the features playing at the theater during the time of your event or bring your own Blu-ray to project onto the big screen.

 

How much notice is required to book an event?

For private rentals, we require a minimum of 7-day notice.

 

How many guests can I invite for my event?

Based on the location and availability, auditoriums vary in size and can accommodate anywhere from 40 to 200 guests at one time.  Your Group Sales Coordinator will work with the selected location to find the best auditorium to fit your needs.

 

When do I have access to the theater?

Our Group Sales Coordinator will provide you with your arrival time.

 

Does Georgia Theatre Company provide a table for guest check in or gift bags?

A table can be provided upon request.

 

May I bring in my own decorations?

For theater rentals, we ask that you limit decorations to a welcome sign which can be placed at the entrance of your auditorium.  Cannot be taped or stapled to the wall. No balloons.

 

What are the food and beverage options that can be added to my event?

Please ask our Group Sales Coordinator about our current food and beverage options.

 

Is outside food or beverage allowed?

Outside food or beverages are not permitted (with one exception).  For Birthday Parties, the host may bring cupcakes for their group in addition to a per child concession purchase. Please no whole-cakes or ice cream.


How do I pay for my event?

Payments are made at your selected venue and are required to be paid at a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your event time.  All Georgia Theatre Company locations accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

 

What if I need to change the number of attendees?

Your final guest count is due 5 days prior to the event.

 

Am I able to earn GTC Reel Reward Points on Group Sales?

Yes. There is a $200 (2000 points) cap per day for earning reward points.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 5-day notice for cancellations and/or reschedules.
