Soprano Nadine Sierra stars as the self-sacrificing courtesan Violetta—one of opera’s ultimate heroines—in Verdi’s timeless tragedy. Maestro Daniele Callegari conducts.

SAT, DEC 10- The Hours

Soprano Renée Fleming returns to the Met in the world-premiere production of Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Kevin Puts’s The Hours. Soprano Kelli O’Hara and mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato join Fleming as the opera’s trio of heroines. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

SAT, JAN 14 - Fedora

Packed with memorable melodies and explosive confrontations, Fedora requires a cast of thrilling voices, and the Met promises to deliver. Soprano Sonya Yoncheva stars as the title princess who falls in love with Count Loris, sung by tenor Piotr Beczała.

Wagner’s soaring masterpiece makes a triumphant return to the Met, starring tenor Piotr Beczała as the mysterious swan knight. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

Baritone Michael Volle stars as the caddish knight Falstaff, gleefully tormented by a trio of clever women who deliver his comeuppance, in Verdi’s glorious Shakespearean comedy. Daniele Rustioni conducts.

A dream cast assembles for Strauss’s grand Viennese comedy: Soprano Lise Davidsen is the Marschallin, opposite mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard as Octavian and soprano Erin Morley as Sophie. Simone Young conducts.

Terence Blanchard brings his first opera to the Met after his Fire Shut Up in My Bones triumphantly premiered in 2021. Bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green stars as the young boxer Emile Griffith. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

SAT, MAY 20 - Don Giovanni

Ivo van Hove brings a new staging of Mozart’s tragicomedy to the Met, re-setting the tale of deceit and damnation in an abstract landscape. Baritone Peter Mattei stars in the title role. Nathalie Stutzmann conducts.
